SDC Development can provide a high level of expertise with any and all of the following services:

Assist in development and management of design and construction programs.

         

Provide assistance with sourcing local, regional or national design and construction teams in the US and Canada.

Provide management services during planning, estimating, permitting, construction and close out assistance for all projects.

Provide support to internal and external partners, airport authorities and/or local jurisdictional agencies in the planning, permitting and construction.

Provide assistance to architects and engineers with obtaining the required permits for construction.

Conduct reviews of all related design and construction documents.

Assist and manage the bid process according to the client’s bid guidelines.

Manage project budgets and provide ongoing analysis and summary throughout the course of each project.

Develop and manage project schedules and provide on-going review of the General Contractor’s project schedule including monitoring all key milestone dates and timelines.

Provide attendance and perform the following key milestone meetings (but not limited to):
a. Site Investigation Meeting
b. Pre-Bid Meeting
c. Pre-Construction Meeting
d. Punch Walk Through
e. Turnover Walk Through
f. Final Permitting and Jurisdictional Inspections

Provide regular and timely communication with the client, the General Contractor and all consultants in managing the project schedules, scope, potential cost impact requirements and activities.

Attend all necessary site meetings as required to verify field progress, resolve issues and provide updates.  

Review the General Contractor’s site progress reports and photos on a weekly basis. 

Monitor and manage the quality control of work performed throughout construction by the General Contractor and any of the owner provided suppliers and their installers.

Review of all General Contractor’s pay application for completion percentages and accuracy.

Provide review, assessment and recommendations on all proposed change orders by the General Contractor prior to client submittal.

Provide review and comments of all project directives, RFI’s, change order request and bulletins.

Provide all necessary design and construction related assistance during the completion of each project.

Manage the completion of the contractor’s punch list.

Monitor and assist the General Contractor and/or consultants in obtaining the final Certificate of Occupancy.

Ensure that all necessary documentations, warranties and manuals are completed at the conclusion of every project.

Assist and track final close out items.
